An exclamation
Bernadette, sometimes copied by Kateri, coined the humorous exclamation baby-O-eee-chocolaty. What's it mean? We don't have a translation.

Explanations
Bernadette called it "a hurting fight." Isaiah called it "a frank exchange of ideas."
Bernadette: "I make my own audiobooks when I play, but I never get to finish them because someone always stops me to make me do something."

Miss Bee
I've been trying to get her to stop smacking her mouth when she chews. She does pretty well when she remembers, but the other day, when we weren't even eating, she suddenly announced, "You know, Mama, when I do that, I'm really just kissing." "Kissing what?" "The air."
This comment came while we were driving home from Isaiah's Trail Life meeting: "Mama, I don't just like pretty things. I like cool things, too." She then explained to me that she would like to shoot at a target like Isaiah and Daddy had recently done. I told her I would try to find her an opportunity to shoot sometime. So...who wants to see Bernadette armed?

Mara speaks.
Watching me prepare to change her diaper this morning: "Poop!"
With a pair of my underwear on her head: "Hat!"
When she sees her swing or is asked if she wants to go outside and swing: "Whee!"
She really likes the little nursery rhyme books we have. If she brings you the one that contains "Six a Song of Sixpence", she'll say, "Pie!" If it's the one with "Peter Piper", she'll intone, "Peepeepeepeepee..." until you're done reading the titular rhyme. Then she'll sit quietly and listen to the others. But if you (or she) turn back to the "Peter Piper" page, she'll start right up again with "Peepeepeepee..."
