KU loses in national title game

Highlights of the first half: Bernadette up way past her bed time crawled into my lap, saw the game and said "ball." Later Isaiah in same perch said "the blue guy had the ball. Then the white guy had the ball." And "Rock Chalk Jayhawk!" And after some explanation "go blue team." No night like that with family (and KU friends) is a loss.

Edit: I should also thank my lovely wife Marian for understanding, or at least accomodating, my love of Kansas basketball at this time of year.

Observations

I asked Isaiah to describe the snake he was observing at the pet store. "It looks like a blackberry," he said. A very apt way to explain the scales, in my opinion.

I asked Isaiah which ball was different from among the ones out front at ESPN (basketball, soccer ball, football, baseball, golf ball), going through pairings. "Is a golf ball the same as a football?"
