A few weeks ago...
Me: "I thought I'd make a lamb and pork meatloaf tonight."
Matt: "No, don't mix the ground lamb with other meat. There's not a lot of it, so let's save it for lamb meatballs or something."

Me (a little disappointed because I was looking forward to trying it): "OK."
This morning...
Matt (noticing the packages of ground lamb and ground beef I'm defrosting to make lamb meatballs for the adults and "regular" meatballs for the kids): "Is that for tonight?"
Me: "Yes. Don't worry; I'm not mixing them."
Matt: "Why not?"
Me: "Oh, my gosh. I think I might lose my ever-loving mind."
Isaiah (looking up from his book in the next room): "Actually, Mom, it sounds like you're already about to blow a fuse of some sort."
