Twosie update

Marian had an appointment this week and we heard the heartbeat. Isaiah was more interested in driving his tractor on the examining table than anything else going on in the room. Marian has also begun to feel flutters of movement. Twosie was especially active after we had ice cream Thursday night (Isaiah didn't complain about that, either!).

Doula introduction
We met with Jen, our doula, today (Thursday) and her backup, Debbie, last night. Both seem very nice and have promised not only to help Marian and I (don't freak out, don't freak out, calm and supportive) work toward a great birth but also to capture some great pictures as soon as the baby is born. They are supportive of the Bradley Method (we finished the classes for this a couple of weeks ago).

For those of you unfamiliar with doulas (used to be me, too):

Merriam-Webster
