Reading

Audio isn't the greatest, but you don't need the dialogue to love this. Last night when we were reading this book, he kept saying, "That's funny."

Reading

While Isaiah prefers books about trucks, he's interested in a variety of topics. He'll grab them from the shelves and bring them to us to read on the bed or couch or floor. It is fun to sit with him leaning up against me. Sometimes he'll listen, and sometimes he wants to page through. Many times he wants the book repeated.

Bookworm

We were reading the other night when I noticed Isaiah reaching for the book. I handed it to him, and he promptly stuck it in his mouth. I reset the book and we snapped a picture before he again applied the tongue test.
Please don't interrupt my reading

Then I decided it was time for some heavier subjects (I believe the book is open to the section about black holes).

Digital age? Give us books
Isaiah made it through enjoyed his first book on Monday. I'm not sure if he was more interested in my voice, the light on the ceiling, my moving hands, the turning pages or the pictures, but he laughed and smiled several times.

In addition to title character Brown Bear, he really likes White Dog and sometimes Gold Fish. I'm sure he'll be providing literary analysis as soon as he can figure out how to control those arms that flail about when he moves them. I'm sure I'll have the book memorized by the end of the week.
