Before (Yankees-Royals)
Paul and I went to a Yankees-Royals game in June at Yankee Stadium. We intended to tour monument park, but it was closed 15 minutes after the stadium opened. This picture behind home plate was taken after we watched batting practice from the seats in right field (no balls came close, so we didn't have to trample any children) and only minutes before Paul spilled his $9.50 beer, much to my amusement.
After (Royals win!)
It was broiling in the upper deck sun (the fans cheered a brief respite created by the clouds), and we moved to the seats under an overhang in left after the sixth inning. It had to be 15 degrees cooler, although the crowd was in such a heat-induced stupor that nobody objected to Paul's Royals shirt, and nobody punched us when we cheered for the winning home run hit off Mariano Rivera in the ninth. This is taken after the game. No, we did not spill on ourselves. That's the body's natural cooling system at its finest.

Yankee Stadium
Zach, James and Luke take in a game at the final season in the old Yankee Stadium. From our bleacher seats we got to see Mariano Rivera sit in bullpen while the Yankees lost to the Reds. Zach left his Red Sox hat at the hotel.
